These offers have been a ton of fun - Team Cork has been busy finding more of the best deals available and they are obviously a hit with all of you! Read on for more of the best bottles we've found - but take a quick read through about a stellar tasting we had with new Vino Nobile producer called Manvi!
Puru Manvi, a former banker who, in his own words, "had a mid-life crisis and bought a winery." Along with his wife Sudha, Puru purchased the former Giannotti and Romeo properties in Montepulciano, comprising seven acres that they devotedly farm.
They craft their wines with guidance from Cecilia Leoneschi of Castiglion del Bosco and the locally esteemed Roberto Da Frassini. You can see the passion in his face when he talks about the trials of farming and winemaking. Puru joked about his wardrobe transition, saying, "I had to check what was in fashion in big cities again," a far cry from his usual farmer attire of sturdy long sleeves and a bandana, essential for the Tuscan heat.
Friends, these wines were simply delicious! Vino Nobile can be hard to come by, but the Rosso, Nobile, and Riserva we sampled were perfectly true to style—tense, with a great balance of acidity to fruit and a smart use of French oak. Puru said, "We could use Slavonian oak, it's cheaper, but the wine is better with French, so we only use French." They also make a tiny amount of wine, 2500 cases total per year across 5 wines. A scant 80 cases (6pks!) of their Riserva Nobile gets made in the best vintages—2019 is one for collectors, don't sleep on this under-the-radar gem.
We've secured a limited quantity for this initial release and will balance orders as best we can. Another shipment is expected in early July. Our team was thoroughly impressed by the quality and value—give these wines a try; you won't be disappointed. Stay tuned for a follow-up offer in July, as opportunities like this disappear quickly!

Paltrinieri 'Sant'Agata' Lambrusco Rosé 2021 - retail $31.99, your price $25.99 - no minimums
90 Wine Enthusiast
"The Sant'Agata cuvée is loaded with aromas of pink plums, ripe cherries, fresh mint, and cured meats. The palate is bright and refreshing and an additional note of blood orange zest adds more depth and a pleasant bitterness to the wine. This is a very well-balanced wine." WE
Piper-Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage NV – retail $99.99, your price $77.99 – no minimums
92 Wine Spectator, 92 Dunnuck
“Rounded, with a refined mousse that enhances the creamy texture, it offers notes of fresh apricot and juicy tangerine fruit on the finish.” JD
Muralhas de Moncao Vinho Verde 2022 – retail $23.99, your price $19.99 – no minimums
90 Wine Spectator + #41 Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines of 2023!
“There's a flinty underpinning to this fragrant white, which shows a succulent range of ripe apricot, blood orange, white blossoms, lemon peel and pickled ginger. Sleek and linear, with a hint of saline on the finish.” WS
Muralhas de Moncao Vinho Verde Rosé 2021 – retail $23.99, your price $19.99 – no minimums
Cork Note: This rosé is irresistibly lip-smacking and virtually impossible to put down. Unlike the more mineral-driven white above, this rosé showcases strawberry tones and a richer fruit profile. You'll be thanking us as it quenches your thirst this summer—Matt first discovered it on his trip to Portugal last year!
Stags' Leap Winery Viognier 2022 – retail $57.99, your price $39.99 – no minimums
92 Suckling
"Aromas of Meyer lemons, yellow cherries, apricots, and white roses followed by honeycomb and sliced ginger with an underlying seashell and saline minerality to it. Medium-bodied, soft acidity and a hint of phenolics in the mid-palate. Beautiful exotic notes without heaviness. Nice drinkability and freshness." JS
Ramey Russian River Chardonnay 2020 – retail $82.99, your price $62.99 – no minimums
94 Wine Enthusiast, 93 Wine Spectator
"This medium-bodied, vibrant and tangy wine makes a big impact on the nose with toasted oak and caramel and on the palate with lemons, pineapples, and Pippin apples. Vivid flavors and bracing acidity are well matched here." WE
Reds:
Manvi, Tuscany:
Manvi ‘Myra’ Rosso di Montepulciano 2021 – retail $29.99, your price $23.99 – no minimums – 24 bottles available
93 WineCritics.com
"Expressive with a very blue character showing notes of lavender, wild violet and agapanthus. Medium to full bodied, ultra fine light tannins and a genuinely captivating finale which demands a return to the glass." WC
Manvi ‘Arya’ Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2020 – retail $42.99, your price $35.99 – no minimums – 24 bottles available
92 Falstaff
"Robust and ripe, the 2020 conveys the generous heat of the vintage without sacrificing subtler nuances. It appeals with cinnamon, crushed allspice flower, anise, and tobacco. While grainy tannins are confidently extracted, they are well supported by plush, concentrated fruit, with a savoury, mouth-cleansing finish." DC
Manvi ‘Ojas’ Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva 2019 – retail $59.99, your price $48.99 – no minimums – 6 bottles available
Cork Notes: This was a rich, full-bodied wine, exactly what a good Riserva should be! While the first two were very drinkable on their own, the weight of the 2019 vintage and obvious care in grape selection lent this wine a density and intensity that demands food. We'd suggest cellaring a bottle for 2-3 years, and laugh as your friends try and guess how much it cost!
Italy/France:
Donna Laura ‘Ali’ Sangiovese 2021 – retail $25.99, your price $18.99 – no minimums
90 Suckling
Cork Note: When I first tried this wine, I thought it would be $35+ - imagine my surprise when it came in at $25! A depth here that outpaces its price, and a finish that leaves a mouthwatering tang of crushed iron dust.
Tolaini 'Vigna Montebello Sette' Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2019 – retail $57.99, your price $42.99 – no minimums – 30 bottles available
94 Wine Advocate
“Made with 100% Sangiovese, this is a selection of fruit from a single vineyard - This vintage is especially tight and rich in terms of its concentration, and the wine closes with fine tannins over a full-bodied mouthfeel” WA
Rocca di Montegrossi ‘Geremia’ Rosso 2018 – retail $91.99, your price $69.99 – no minimums – 36 bottles available
96 Vinous, 95 Dunnuck
Blend: 82% Merlot, 18% Cabernet
"Composed of 82% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Geremia is deep ruby, with a sweet perfume of graphite, fresh violets, and kirsch. It is full bodied but weightless, with refined tannins, and is refreshing on the finish. Mouthwatering with salinity and full, with notes of licorice, black cherry, and black raspberry, this is a stunner of a wine. Drink 2025-2045." JD
La Fleur de Boüard, Lalande-de-Pomerol Bordeaux 2016 - retail $105.99, your price $65.99 - 24 bottles available
92 Wine Advocate, 92 Vinous, 91 Dunnuck
"crushed rocks, tilled soil, mossy bark and cigar box scents over a core of blueberry compote, black raspberries and blackberry pie with a waft of dried herbs. Medium to full-bodied, the earth-laced palate is positively charged with energy, framed by very fine-grained tannins and wonderful freshness, finishing on a lingering mineral note." WA "80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in 75% new oak which just melts right in. " DC

Résonance ‘Résonance Vineyard’ Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir 2018 – retail $99.99, your price $79.99 – no minimums – 18 bottles available
93 Wine Enthusiast
“the wines are dark, earthy, tannic and brooding. Stiff and spicy beetroot, cranberry, and black cherry flavors hold down the center, and there is concentrated power coiled there…Drink this after 2025” WE
