Cork Wine Offer - Casanova di Neri - a rare offer

We are pleased to offer a rare opportunity to experience some of the world’s greatest Brunellos. Casanova di Neri is seen as a iconic producer of Brunello and consistently releases some of the very best wines in the region.

“Casanova di Neri makes some of the most respected, powerful, eclectically long-lived and highly rated Brunello di Montalcino.”

THE FAMILY

Giacomo Neri and his family have more accolades than you can imagine, and all of this is only superseded by his warm and generous personality. All his wines are stunning representations of the family’s core beliefs.

Casanova di Neri is a fully organic and family owned 63-hectare estate in the Montalcino region of Tuscany. They make four very distinctive Brunello di Montalcino red wines.

Giovanni Neri was a grain merchant from the town of Montevarchi, south of Florence. He founded the estate in 1971, after moving to Montalcino. He planted his vineyards, and released his first wine in 1978.

After Giovanni died suddenly in 1991 his son, Giacomo Neri (now 59 years old), took over. Giacomo’s children are Giovanni (33) who manages the vines and is head winemaker and Gianlorenzo (30) who handles the commercial side of the winery.

THE VINEYARDS

Its seven vineyards are in top terroirs across Montalcino: Fiesole, Cerretalto, Collalli, Podernuovo, Pietradonice, Giovanni Neri, and Cetine. Their diversity of soil, exposition, microclimate, and vine age are the quintessential pieces needed for terroir-driven wines, adding to their identity and outstanding personality. Casanova di Neri consistently is referred to as the undisputed benchmark for Brunello.

Team Cork loves supporting producers with traditional values who deliver consistently high-quality wines! Casanova di Neri has been awarded several 100-point wine scores over several vintages for multiple wines. This is very rare - don't miss the opportunity to add icons to your cellar!
