A fruit forward wine with a deep garnet color. On the nose you will receive juicy aromas of black fruit, black licorice, pepper, vanilla, sweet spice and oak. The dry, rich medium-full bodied wine is sharp, with an agreeable balance between acidity and tannins and an extra long finish. This Syrah is ready for long ageing.
Best paired with red meat including steak, lamb, cured meats and meat sauces. Hard cheese, aged cheddar, dill Havarti and other bold flavored cheese will compliment the wine perfectly on a grazing board.
