Defying its rainy vintage, this beautiful Rioja from López de Heredia's 58-year-old "El Bosque" vineyard blends Tempranillo with Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo. It is the most similar to Pinot Noir of any LDH wines with bright raspberry and wild berry aromas and a silky palate. There is a surprising depth with red cherry and subtle earthiness in the finish. Perfect for braised lamb shanks.
