The Gagnon-Kennedy Vineyards Monte Rosso Vineyard 2020 is a premium, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from historic Sonoma volcanic soils, known for its deep fruit (mixed berry, black currant), spicy notes (cinnamon, cacao), mineral backbone, and structured tannins, showcasing the pedigree of Monte Rosso even in the challenging 2020 vintage. It's a complex, elegant red with velvety texture, intense fruit, and minerality, aged in French oak for added spice and depth, making it a powerful choice for pairing with hearty foods.
Marc Gagnon is Co-Founder and Winemaker and was formerly the Head Winemaker at Bryant Family Vineyard and worked as the Assistant Winemaker at Screaming Eagle. Michael Kennedy is the other half of the partnership; he served as Wine Director for Eric Ripert in New York and Sommelier at the Ritz Carlton in the Cayman Islands.
