This is proper Right Bank Bordeaux without the Right Bank price - ripe red plum, black cherry and cassis with an earthy, savoury edge. It’s full and structured, but the tannins are silky and the fresh acidity keeps it lively. A polished Bordeaux Supérieur that drinks well above its weight.
