Full bodied Bordeaux made up mostly Merlot with small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The palate shows off lots of dark fruit like stewed plums, blackberry jam and ripe BC cherries. The fruity notes are followed by cedar, forest floor, baking spice and mushrooms.
Chateau Le Puy has been taking the natural approach since the 1600's. Their full bodied, classically Bordeaux wines are great examples of what natural wine can be. They have been working with their environment and increasing biodiversity on their vineyard right from the start.
