Chateau Le Doyenne has been around since at least 1791! Meaning this wine is made from mature vines. A Bordeaux blend consisting of mostly Merlot (70%) followed by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

Dark ruby in the glass with flecks of purple. The fruit is ripe with some notes of cassis and kirsch. The palate also shows savoury grilled herbs, coffee and some spice. Will go beautifully with roasted and grilled meats. Serve this at your next dinner party. Since this wine already has some age on it, you can start to see the benefits of aging good quality Bordeaux.
