Gerard Bertrand Orange Gold

Gérard Bertrand Orange Gold is a rich and fragrant blend of organically grown Chardonnay, White Grenache, Viognier, Marsanne, Mauzac, Muscat and is deep gold in the glass. So many aromas and flavours on this wine. We start with white and yellow florals on the nose, ripe peach, fresh apple and fragrant orange zest to wake up the senses, finishing long and zesty on a mineral note. There are light tannins on this wine. Orange Gold is made using an ancient winemaking technique whereby grapes are whole bunch vinified and fermented. Maceration is with stems and skins and gives this wine an iridescent orange-gold colour.
