The old vines give only a low yield, but a wine with a particularly high concentration and depth, the aromatic complexity is very impressive for a Village Wine and would be more than ok for a 1er Cru. The silky tannins give the elegance to this wine. 2017 is a classically structured vintage, everything is perfectly balanced and the harvest is back to a normal quantity after the frosty year of 2016. Neil Martin from Vinous writes: "The 2017 reds are very good, often excellent, and from time to time, bloody awesome". A vintage that should not be missed.
