2018 vintage - 94 Wine Enthusiast

This is the top production from Duflouleur, from a monopole vineyard in the heart of Fixin. Bing cherry, black plum, spicy forest earth emerge on the reticent nose (after some air). This wine will benefit from 2-3 years of cellaring - but will be sold out long past then. The acidity and tannins are built for aging, while 1/3 new oak bolsters the structure and promises great rewards for the patient collector.
