Description

When winemakers make blends, the goal is to offer the best elements of each grape to a wine and ensure balance. Santes is a mix of local Spanish grapes and international varietals in perfect harmony. Grenache, Merlot, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah come together to offer balanced acidity, tannin, texture, and fruit. A dry, easy-to-drink wine that does just lovely on its own but can hold up to food brilliantly. Grapes are harvested in small parcels and kept separate until the final blends are decided. This ensures high quality cuvees. The diversity of soil types adds complexity to the wines and the Mediterranean climate and high elevation result in fresh and fragrant character.
